Downtown Market is owned by Brett Hill a graduate of Point Pleasant Boro High School.  The store opened its doors in April of 2005.  Downtown Market offers a wide variety of fresh cut meats, all cut in the store by the owners and our butcher  Frank who has been a butcher for 50 plus years.  In our Deli section we offer Boar’s Head and Thumann's Deli Products as well as store cooked sliced meats. We make our own Salads out of the freshest ingredients and we also offer prepared meals to go.  We offer daily lunch specials and have an extensive deli menu.  At the store we also offer a selection of grocery items, fresh produce and fresh breads.  Downtown Market tries to offer a small town feel of one stop shopping.

Brett Hill graduated from Pt. Pleasant Boro High School in 1988 and from there went on to study and graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.  He has owned and operated “JBH Catering Company” for the past 12 years and upon finding this great location has opened the doors of Downtown Market to be the new home of JBH Catering to expand his culinary creations.  Brett has competed in many culinary competitions over the years and won many awards for his culinary creations.  Brett has worked at the Warren Hotel in Spring Lake, The Bluff’s in Bay Head, he was Food Service Director for Newport Foods a division of Compass Group North America for 12 years and now is concentrating on making the Downtown Market and JBH Catering a great success.
